Luz Spa is operated by husband and wife team Toby and Victoria, with over 50 years collective experience in the spa and wellness industry.

Luz Spa offers the highest quality mobile spa facials, massage and bodywork services for the Praia da Luz area. We provide a 5 star service in the comfort of your own home, hotel accomodation, wellness and surf retreats, spa parties and events.

Victoria
“Facialist to the Stars”

Victoria started her career as a beauty therapist in England, before working and ultimately managing spas on luxury cruise yachts, where she met Toby. After traveling the seven seas together, they moved to Vancouver, Canada where Victoria started her own spa business, specializing in custom tailored, classic European facials. As the spa and Victoria’s reputation grew, Toby joined her offering massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine services, which led them to expanding and employing other like-minded therapists, and building their own custom spa facility in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Victoria and Toby’s spa went on to win the coveted Consumer’s Choice Award for the “Best Spa in the City”, for the greater Vancouver area.

Victoria’s world class facials were in high demand, and she was sought out by celebrity clients such as Catherine Zeta Jones and Justin Timberlake, amongst others.

Toby
Master Bodyworker

Toby studied Massage Therapy in Vancouver, Canada, learning Swedish, Relaxation and Deep Tissue Massage techniques, before earning a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Toby is also trained in Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Myofascial Release, Chinese Therapeutic Massage (Tui Na), Reflexology and Acupressure.

Toby can offer multiple styles of massage, as well as more focused therapeutic treatments tailored for the specific needs of each client.
